Pakistani swimmers Ahmed Durrani and Jehanara Nabi’s Paris Olympics 2024 hopes were dashed as they failed to advance in their events. Durrani finished last in the men’s 200-meter freestyle, clocking 1:58.67, far from his personal best of 1:55. Nabi finished 26th out of 30 in the women’s 200-meter freestyle. Shooters Gulfam Joseph and Kishmala Talat also struggled, with Joseph placing 22nd and Kishmala failing to advance in the 10-meter air pistol event. They will compete in the mixed-team event on July 29, with Kishmala focusing on the women’s 25m pistol. Pakistan has seven athletes and 11 officials in the Games.
